I had high hopes for this table, it looks exactly what I need and seems sturdy. However when I received it, the box was very obviously opened by someone else before, and they tried to put the table together. Which honestly wouldn’t be a problem but one side of the table top also had a lacquer defect: the surface was chipped and the shopping was ongoing. I asked for the replacement, got it, and when I opened it the replacement’s surface was scratched and there was a very similar lacquer defect in another spot
