I was a bit skeptical upon ordering because of the low price, even compared to other Yeelight bulbs, and the lack of reviews, so I am here to remedy that issue for other potential buyers. As far as I can tell, the feature set of these bulbs matches that of the $30 offering from the same company, however, these are only $18 each. Having used two Yeelight bulbs in the past and never having issues with them, I went ahead with the purchase, expecting there to be some sort of catch, however, the bulbs that showed up are exactly as described, adjustable white and multicolor WiFi controllable smart bulbs.I bought 12 of these in total to replace some Sengled and C by GE bulbs that had been giving me reliability issues where they would sometimes fail to connect and not work. This also allowed me to remove the hub that the Sengled bulbs required. Setting them up in the app was a fairly smooth process, 2 out of the 12 had issues connecting to the WiFi on the first try, but worked fine after pressing "Try Again", so no complaints there. I also imported all the bulbs into their respective rooms in Google Home and confirmed that they work great with Google Assistant voice commands. These lights are definitely brightest on their white modes, and fall off a bit on the colors, but that is typical of any multicolor light bulb in my experience. I'd say these lights are a bit brighter than the standard Philips Hue bulbs on the white mode, but very slightly dimmer on the color modes. The color reproduction is quite vibrant, but it can be hard to select the exact color you want through the interface in the app. I still think that LIFX bulbs have brighter and more vibrant colors if you're looking for a bulb to be used exclusively for colored light, but they are also quite a bit pricier.Overall, I'm really happy with this purchase, and will likely keep coming back to these bulbs as my go-to option because of how good they are for the price. These easily stand out amongst their much more expensive peers.I am using Yeelight S1 with Home Assistant. To setup, you will need a phone, the Yeelight app, give up your location, and an account on their website. All a bit clunky and took multiple attempts to get working. Once it was working, I got the light on my wifi and was able to control the light with the YeeLight app. After that I changed my DHCP server to move the lamp into my Internet blocked IOT network. I powered cycled the lamp and it picked up the new IP address. In Home Assistant, I used the YeeLight integration and gave it the IP address of the light. And it all worked. It's a light, and it lights and I can dim it. No issues.Note 2 things. The app still has the "local lan" option that allows Home Assistant to connect directly to the bulb. I hear that Yeelight removes that feature with newer firmware versions. Also, I opened up the lamp (the top twist off with some effort), and the ESP module is potted inside the light. So no flashing the ESP chip without major effort to hack is out to get to the pins. For the 14 bucks it cost, I ordered two more as I already give up all my personal information to Yeelight installing the app. But I would if I knew an account was required, I would not have bought the light.I'm a twitch streamer and was looking for smart LED lights that could be integrated with Lumia streaming software, these Hue smart LED lights fit the bill. The light bulbs are a lot more heavier than the conventional bulbs but fit in regular socket no problem. The installation is very easy and the lights can be controlled via phone App.Phone App has many preset functions and patterns, brightness and color can be easily changed, also there are options for customized settings.I do wish these lights were a bit brighter but that's my only complaint. They are energy efficient and long lasting. Overall decent value for the money.Had lots of difficulty reading & translating the broken English instructions while getting this YeeLight to integrate correctly with Google Assistant and Alexa. But I eventually got it to work (from the Google & Alexa side, not the YeeLight App). Nice feature (advanced technology) not needing to have a sister wifi hub unit in the mix.I picked up one bulb to see if it will work with my Hubitat home automation system. The main selling point is the Yeelight local control option. Connected to my hub, it initially would not work. I found that if power is cut off to the bulb and restored, you must hit the "initialize" and/or "refresh" buttons in the Hubitat controls for the bulb to respond to commands. Then it works alright. I'm not sure if this is a bug with the bulb or the Hubitat. As others have complained, this bulb is dim in Soft white, which is what I use 90% of the time, so I cannot use it for the intended purpose. Likely the Yeelight has 1 white LED tuned to 6000k and no LED tuned to 2700k, so it must mix in some orange from the RGB LED to simulate 2700k. I wish they would have done the opposite, putting a 2700k LED in and mixing in some blue to get 6000k, but in all fairness I'm speculating. If Yeelight made a 100 Watt equivalent bulb with warm white that was about 60 Watts equivalent, I would consider buying about 8 more, but I would still only want to pay the price of a 60 Watt equivalent bulb because of it's lack of brightness.Easy installation and set-up. Unfortunately not compatible with Apple Homekit but it can be used on the Mi Home app and the Yeelight app which are both better than Apple anyway. It also works with open-source apps on Windows and Linux like f.lux which is awesome. It’s bright enough to light my whole bedroom but also dims low enough to be a perfect night light in different colors as well. I put it on a schedule to help me wake up in the morning and to dim after sunset to get ready for sleep. Does everything I need and for a decent price compared to other smart bulbs! Absolutely fantastic bulbs. Much better than Philips hue and much better than alot of the cheaper smart bulbs.Nice and bright in whites, colours are great with good saturation.I think price wise is much more swallowable than against bigger brands like hue and lifexYeelight app is easy to use and very refined.Would love it if Yeelight came out with more lighting in the same product range that Govee has.Atualizado! Lampada é bem forte e é divertido ficar mudando as cores.I bought the white-only tunable version. Advertised as Apple HomeKit compatible but actual package doesn’t have logo. The Apple Home app doesn’t recognize this either? Light functions well. The app can be confusing to create customizations. I’m going to try to get it to work with IFTTT but I’m considering returning it.Tenho Google Nest Mini em casa.
